About

My Background

I began my exploration with photography at 16 with a digital camera and quickly moved into film with a 35mm camera. Within a few short years my technique improved and so did my desires for my work. This caused me to move up to 4"x5" film giving me ample room to explore my new medium, I haven't turned back to digital since.

Why Film

I shoot film because there's something magic about it. It still captures a deep beauty that digital doesn't catch for me. With large format film I have the potential to capture enourmous amounts of detail and tones to record how I see the world.

My Work

While I mostly shoot landscapes and architecture, I see myself exploring more and more into the abstract realm of photography with long exposures, new compositions, and unique perspectives of various subjects.
